RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Your satisfaction is a priority at 786 Cosmetics. We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions eligible U.S. orders only:

  • Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase.

  • Only full-price items are eligible for returns or exchanges.

  • Items purchased during a sale, promotion, discount, or with promotional pricing are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

  • International orders are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges.

How to Request a Return or Exchange

REFUNDS & STORE CREDIT

Due to the nature of nail polish products—which must be damaged out once returned—786 Cosmetics issues refunds as store credit in most cases. For eligible U.S. orders only.

  • Approved returns are refunded as store credit only.

  • Refunds to the original payment method are reserved for extreme or exceptional cases, including:

    • Items damaged in transit

    • Defective products

    • Fulfillment errors on our part

Store credit does not expire and can be applied to future purchases.

 

COLOR SATISFACTION & EXCHANGES

If you are not satisfied with the color you selected:

  • We are happy to offer an exchange for another shade, provided the item was purchased at full price and the request is submitted within 30 days.

  • Requests can be made through your Shopify account or by contacting us directly.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or unusable due to shipping, we will provide a replacement.

  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

  • Please include:

    • Your order number

    • Clear photos of the damaged or defective item(s)

    • Photos of the shipping box and packaging

Once approved, a replacement will be sent at no additional cost.

 

RETURN SHIPPING

Once your return or exchange is approved:

  • Return instructions will be provided via Shopify or email.

  • Customers will be provided a return label and the exchange or refund/store credit wont be issued until it is received at our warehouse. 

  • Returns will be processed within 7 business days upon receipt of product(s)

 

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

  • Orders may be canceled only before they are processed or shipped.

  • Once an order has been shipped or delivered, it cannot be canceled.

 

SHIPPING ISSUES & ADDRESS ERRORS

Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

  • 786 Cosmetics is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.

  • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for reshipping fees.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, DUTIES & TARIFFS

All international orders are final sale.

For orders shipped outside of the United States, including but not limited to Canada, customers may experience:

  • Increased shipping fees due to tariffs, duties, taxes, or customs charges

  • Additional clearance or import fees imposed by the destination country

By placing an international order, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for clearing your order through customs

  • You are responsible for paying any duties, taxes, tariffs, or import fees

  • These fees are non-refundable

  • Orders refused due to unpaid customs or import fees will not be refunded

  • If a package is marked undeliverable, additional shipping charges will apply to resend the order.
