Fall is here, that means it’s time for the pretty colors and cool weather. As soon as the season turns to fall I know that one of my favorite holiday’s will be here soon, Halloween! If you’re anything like me, anything and everything Halloween related makes you really happy.  So I've decided to put together some nail art ideas based on Halloween. If you want some inspiration for your nails, whether it be for a costume or you just want to spice up your nails, keep reading the 5 best Halloween nail art ideas!

Halloween Striped Nails

This look is best for people who prefer a more simple design. It’s very bold, and it has a modern twist to it. It has the classic Halloween colors orange and black. To get this look all you need is orange nail polish, black nail polish, and nail tape. First, paint your whole nail black and once that dries apply a top coat. Then place nail tape on your nails over the black nail polish. Doing this will make the stripes, so add as many as you want. Then just paint the orange nail polish over your whole nail, including the tape. Let that dry and then peel off the tape. There are your Halloween striped nails! You can add things like jewels or bats to give your nails some originality. You can also switch up the colors if you like, you could do black and green, black and red, green and purple, etc.

Candy Corn Nails

This look is best for people who prefer a more cute and fun design. This look is made to look like candy corn so it will contain the colors white, orange and yellow. To get this look all you need is white nail polish,  orange nail polish, yellow nail polish, and a sponge. First, paint your whole nail white, once that dries apply a top coat. Then take your sponge and dip it into the orange nail polish and dab the sponge onto your nail, make sure to leave some white because that is the tip of the candy corn. Let that dry and then apply another top coat. Lastly, take another sponge and dip it into the yellow nail polish. Dab that on the end of your nail, make sure you're leaving a section of white and orange! Let that dry and apply your top coat!

Halloween Splatter Nails

This look is great for people who love Halloween vibes! If you like creepy nails you should definitely try out this look. This look can be made to look different but the process is still the same. You can complete this look with the color combinations black and red or orange and black.  To get this look all you need is black nail polish and orange or red nail polish. First, paint your whole nail black, once that dries apply a top coat. Then take the nail polish brush from your preferred color and run your finger along the brush to splatter paint along your nails.  You can make the splatter pattern as heavy or light as you want. Let that dry and apply your top coat. There are your Halloween Splatter nails!

Crescent Moon Nails

This look is really really cool. It’s simple but you can really get your point across with it. There are two methods to complete this look. The first method is drawing the moon yourself. To do this method all you need is black and white nail polish. Paint your whole nail with the black nail polish. Let that dry and apply a top coat. Once the top coat is dry draw a crescent moon on your nail to the best of your abilities. Let that dry apply a top coat and you're done!  The second method is with a stamp. The process is relatively the same but instead of drawing the moon onto your nails, you can use a stamper. All you do is paint the white nail polish over a moon stencil, scrape off the excess and bounce the stamped moon onto the stamper and then apply it to your nail. Let that dry and apply the top coat. P.S Don’t be afraid to add some flair of your own like stars, ghosts, bats, etc.

Dark Ombre Nails

This look is good for people who want more of a subtle Halloween look, but even though these nails are more on the subtle side they look great and are pretty simple to do. Like all the other nails you can switch up the colors to be whatever you want. The colors I am going to use as an example today is red and black. However, you can use color combos like orange and purple, purple and black, orange and black, etc. To complete this look you going to need red and black nail polish and some sponges. The nails look best with a more matte burgundy color. First, you need to paint your whole nail with the burgundy red color. Let that dry and apply the top coat. Once the top coat is dry you want to dip a sponge into the black nail polish and dab the paint over the bottom half of your nail. Keep dabbing until the colors are blended together well. Once you finished with that, let it dry and apply your top coat. Again, you can add whatever you want to this look to make it more original, don’t be afraid to get creative!
